Because of his experience as a Director of PLS’s in engineering and manufacturing sectors, he has a versatile approach. Furthermore he has the advantage of developing and strengthening the support we offer.
Ann Lancaster – Operations Manager
Ann is responsible for the day to day running of the Boost Programme. Above all, ensuring targets are achieved.
In addition, Ann has a great skill of finding the perfect mentor for each client. Therefore helping business to grow and providing the right support at the right time.
With a wealth of experience in the business support sector, Ann is well equipped to lead this project to success. Achieving great results for the businesses in Lancashire.
Finally, Ann has also grown a business in design and manufacture of wooden gifts. This business was successful for 21 years and employed 40 people. Above all, Ann understands the situations faced by local businesses.
Linda Edmonds – Customer Liaison Manager
Linda is our Customer Liaison Manager and your first point of contact. Therefore, she is excellent at dealing with enquiries and providing the correct support to clients and mentors.
With 34 years working in the banking sector in a variety of roles, this means Linda has a wealth of knowledge, experience and skills which are invaluable to the team.
Carl is our Mentor Co-ordinator. He visits clients to explain about Growth Mentoring. In addition, Carl identifies their needs and barriers to growing their business. Therefore, allowing us to match the correct mentor to each business.
Carl has owned three start up businesses in the past. He has also worked as a Business Adviser at Business Link for seven years and Membership Manager for North & Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce for ten years. Plus, Area Manager for a multi-national company and Sales Manager for a Lancashire manufacturer.
Furthermore, Carl has been a Princes Trust Volunteer Business Mentor for twelve years and is an Open College accredited Trainer in Sales & Marketing and trained Facillitator for action learning.
This wealth of knowledge and experience gives Carl an empathy and understanding of how best to support Lancashire businesses.
Sonia is responsible for raising awareness of the project. This involves engaging with businesses in Lancashire who have ambitions to grow. Sonia also manages the marketing and social media activity for the programme. Therefore, you’ll often see her at various networking events throughout the county.
Having worked in the Business Support sector for over 15 years, Sonia has a wealth of experience of engaging with local businesses. She has experience in identifying needs and helping businesses to achieve their goals.
Sonia also runs her own Freelance consultancy and training business. Furthermore she is a Director in an engineering and manufacturing business. This experience means she can bring hands on experience and understanding to the clients we work with.
