Grow your Business
Orvia has been supporting businesses for over 39 years, so we are delighted to be delivering the Growth Mentoring Programme on behalf of Boost Business Lancashire. We have all the experience and knowledge to help local businesses achieve their ambitions for growth and success……so how can we help you?
What is Growth Mentoring?
Growth Mentoring offers fully funded support (so no cost to you!) for Lancashire based businesses to help them grow and take the business to the next level.
We do this by providing 1-2-1 mentoring from an experienced and successful business person, who will support and help you tackle any challenges or barriers. Our mentors can help in any aspect of the business, from marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing and recruitment, to name but a few!
The mentor will work alongside you and your business, acting as a sounding board or offering a different perspective, sharing their skills, knowledge and experience and helping you develop a successful strategy to put into action.
The success of our programme comes from empowering business owners, encouraging you to work on, not in, the business. Through this transfer of knowledge, you will be able to develop a strategy for growth and have ability to reach your goals.
With over 300 mentors to choose from, we are confident we’ll have just the right person to help you! We have already supported over 500 business since 2013 to achieve their dreams, so, get in touch to find out how we can help you to grow your business Contact us

How does it work?
- You will have an initial review to identify your goals.
- Then a suitable mentor will be matched to your goals and business needs.
- You will attend 1-2-1 meetings over a 4-month period to work on your business.
- From these meetings you will develop a realistic and achievable Growth Action Plan.
- In addition, you’ll be invited to business growth events and networking groups.
But don’t just take our word for it, here’s what our businesses have to say about the support we have given:
“The support which Martin our mentor provided was invaluable to us. He took time to understand our business, what we do and the challenges we face.
The meetings gave us a fresh pair of eyes and food for thought on each visit with plenty of challenges to get us thinking. Martin never left us without adding value. It was a pleasure to have him working with us.
I would be happy to recommend this scheme to anyone.
“I found the mentoring a very helpful and worthwhile experience. Kevin our mentor was excellent. Very organised and his knowledge was of a very high level. I learned something new every time I met him. His was invaluable!”
“Jean Atkinson from Marketing Minds Academy was fantastic. Her infectious personality and enthusiasm, coupled with her expert media knowledge and planning support have proven invaluable to us. I would highly recommend any support from Jean in future.”
